Centrifugal Spray Dryer is one of the most important Drying Equipment for drying graphene, graphite, lithium iron phosphate and so on.
Spray drying process in which various solutions, free-flowing slurries, emulsions, dispersions etc. are directly converted to powder/granules. This is the preferred method of drying of many thermally-sensitive materials such as foods and pharmaceuticals or materials which may require extremely consistent, fine, particle size.
From the top of spray dryer hot air/gas is blown through blower in the same direction as the sprayed liquid (co-current action) & fine powder is produced which is further collected in Cyclone separators and exhaust gases exit system through exhaust fan. Co-current flow generally allows the system to operate more efficiently.
